Ora is connected to history, to roots, to society. She is a multidisciplinary artist who repeats and examines combinations of materials. For many years, she worked to develop and promote the field of material art for all the possibilities inherent in it. She left behind a generation of artists who continue to strengthen the field and its central place in the Israeli art world.

1988-2010 head of the Department of Ceramics and Sculpture in Matter, Beit Berl College of Art.

Projects
1991 Planning and executing a 5-meter-high stone environmental sculpture at the Kedumim Cultural Center.
“Execution in the Industry” Be’er Sheva A joint project of the Israel Ceramic Artists Association, The College of Visual Arts Be’er Sheva, and the factories Harsa and Fireproof in Be’er Sheva. Work in factories and following the project an exhibition was held and a catalog was produced.
1988 Planning and executing a stone environmental sculpture in Gan Shani Eliyahu in Be’er Sheva. The statue was placed in the garden.
1984 Design and execution of wall reliefs in the Nahalal Library.
1983 Designed and execution of wall reliefs at the Herzliya Pituach Medical Center.
1981 An international symposium held in the Ramon Crater for 18 days. The goal was to create in nature and test the local materials. Sponsored by the Zach Clay and Sand Factory and the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
Residency
2003 Three and a half months stay in Piatra Santa Italia sculpted there a stone sculpture “Tribute to Pavinici” For the School of High-Tech Management, Tel Aviv University.
Awards
1990 First place in an invited competition of the National Lottery for an environmental sculpture in Kedumim
1987 First place in a national competition of the Ministry of Housing for an environmental sculpture in Be’er Sheva.
